Tanning Tips

REMEMBER:  The darker you are the more defined you will appear on stage!!!

All your training and dieting can all fade away under the stage lights! You don’t want to lose definition on stage, so be as dark as possible!

SUNGLO TANNING STUDIO -  Bedfordview are our preferred tanning specialists that can help you with this!

Sunglo has been involved in Body Building comps for about 5 years, so they know what is expected by the judges, and can help you achieve those results!

Tanning on Professional Sunbeds before the comp is highly recommended to achieve the perfect base tan to accentuate your:
PROTAN / DREAM TAN or SPRAY TAN Applications.
Having a base tan will also lessen the streaky, blotchy effect you get when your PROTAN or DREAM TAN starts to fade. The base tan will also prolong your Spray Tan application!

Sunglo suggests the following for THE PERFECT & PROFESSIONAL stage tan:

10 - 15 SUNBED SESSIONS done on their Professional Imported Sunbeds just before the
competition.

SPRAY TAN application, done by a Professional Spray tan technician with a Spray gun.

PROTAN application, also done by a  Professional Spray tan technician with a Spray gun.

and DREAM TAN rubbed on just before stage appearance

SUNGLO will have PROTAN and DREAM TAN #1 and #2 at the show, should you need to purchase, at pre-judging and the day of the Event!

SUNGLO will be at the show premises.  Situated in between the Male and Female dressing rooms.

Protan and Spray tan applications will be done on site at pre-judging and on the day of the event.

We do, however, suggest pre-booking of PROTAN or SPRAY TAN applications to be done at Sunglo Tanning Studio in Bedfordview to avoid disappointment of not being able to get it done at the venue, as it gets extremely busy, and there is so much for you to get done in order to be prepared for the stage.
So take some stress off yourself and get your tanning done before hand.

Sunglo will also have some ELECTRO THEME Props, nail polishes, jewellery etc available to purchase at the venue (by the spray tan room), should you require!

All your dieting and training can mean nothing to the judges if they cannot see your definition due to the bright lights on stage!

Your tan is as important as all your training, dieting, costumes etc!!!
